Merlin GDP2 Gas Detection Two Zone Control Panel. This control panel processes information from remotely mounted gas detectors and or heat sensors where a 230v output to a slam shut solenoid valve is interrupted on detection of high levels of the gas or gases being monitored. It can also provide a 24VDC output to audible or visual alarms.

Gas Detectors

A range of Gas Detectors are available for use with Merlin GDP2 Gas Detection Control panel include, Merlin LPG Gas Detector, Merlin NG Gas Detector, Merlin Carbon Monoxide Gas Detector.

Heat Detector Fusible Link

This detector is used with gas detection systems. When temperatures of over 72 degrees Celsius are reached, this thermal link will create an open circuit and the control panel will then close the gas valve, cutting off the gas supply.

Emergency Stop Button

This switch may be used to deactivate a normally closed 230v slam shut solenoid valve in the incoming gas supply line.

Sounder Beacon

This Audible (sounder) and visual (Beacon) alarm may be used with a gas detection system. A suitable Gas Detection control panel will provide a 24VDC output to this component on detection of high levels of the gas or gases being monitored.

Arctic Smoke Pellets 6 x 13g

Arctic PH Smoke Matches – Box of 12 Suitable for gas fire spillage tests, Airflow tracing, draught testing, extractor fan testing and hand-held smoke applications. Burn time of each match is about 20 seconds. Smoke volume is 2 cubic metres per match

0 to 60mbar U Gauge. Suitable for testing the operating pressure LPG and NG Gas installations. Length 80cm,

0 to 120mbar High Specific Gravity J Gauge. Suitable for pressure testing of domestic gas installations. A 10cc bottle of fluid is included with the gauge to make up small evaporation losses. Height is approximately 80cm

0 to 150mbar High Specific Gravity U gauge. Suitable for pressure testing of domestic gas installations. A 10cc bottle of fluid is included with the gauge to make up small evaporation losses. Approximate height is 96cm.

Hand bellows for charging installation pipework during pressure testing. It has a plain bore tube which fits over a suitable nozzle. The tap allows air to be released slowly, to reduce the pressure by the desired amount for the test procedure.
