Automatic Propane Change Over Regulator Kit OPSO

Premium Automatic Propane Change over Regulator Kit with both OPSO(100mbar) and excess flow protection. This Kit comprises of a 4.5kg/hr 37mbar Regulator, two 500mm Cylinder Hoses to suit Irish propane Cylinders, a Manual Isolation Ball Valve with a test point and a ½” Female outlet, and Mounting Bracket. The Regulator automatically changes to the reserve cylinder without interruption to the gas supply when the pressure drops in the supply cylinder. The indicator window turns red when the system has changed over, the Knob on the front of the regulator should then be pointed to the opposite cylinder, the indicator will then turn green. The Regulator in this kit Conforms to EN16129.

Merlin GDP2 Gas Detection Two Zone Control Panel. This control panel processes information from remotely mounted gas detectors and or heat sensors where a 230v output to a slam shut solenoid valve is interrupted on detection of high levels of the gas or gases being monitored. It can also provide a 24VDC output to audible or visual alarms.

Gas Detectors

A range of Gas Detectors are available for use with Merlin GDP2 Gas Detection Control panel include, Merlin LPG i Gas Detector, Merlin NG i Gas Detector, Merlin i Carbon Monoxide i Gas Detector.

Heat Detector Fusible Link

This detector is used with gas detection systems. When temperatures of over 72 degrees Celsius are reached, this thermal link will create an open circuit and the control panel will then close the gas valve, cutting off the gas supply.

Emergency Stop Button

This switch may be used to deactivate a normally closed 230v slam shut solenoid valve in the incoming gas supply line.

Sounder Beacon

This Audible (sounder) and visual (Beacon) alarm may be used with a gas detection system. A suitable Gas Detection control panel will provide a 24VDC output to this component on detection of high levels of the gas or gases being monitored.

Hand bellows for charging installation pipework during pressure testing. It has a plain bore tube which fits over a suitable nozzle. The tap allows air to be released slowly, to reduce the pressure by the desired amount for the test procedure.
