This control panel processes information from remotely mounted gas detectors and or heat sensors where a 230v output to a slam shut solenoid valve is interrupted on detection of high levels of the gas or gases being monitored. It can also provide a 24VDC output to audible or visual alarms.

Heat Detector Fusible Link
This detector is used with gas detection systems. When temperatures of over 72 degrees Celsius are reached, this thermal link will create an open circuit and the control panel will then close the gas valve, cutting off the gas supply.
Emergency Stop Button
This switch may be used to deactivate a normally closed 230v slam shut solenoid valve in the incoming gas supply line.
Sounder Beacon
This Audible (sounder) and visual (Beacon) alarm may be used with a gas detection system. A suitable Gas Detection control panel will provide a 24VDC output to this component on detection of high levels of the gas or gases being monitored.

MCB2191 and MCB2193 for the FEB24E, FEB24ED and FEB24ED3* are no longer available.
It is now necessary to decide which parts of the hydraulic assembly need to be replaced and the unit will need to be repaired prior to re-installing into the combi boiler.

Our LR29AR Jumbo Regulator is now being supplied with the addition of a rain cover, it is hoped that this will eliminate damage from rain water or exposure to harsh conditions and increase the life of the regulator. We have managed to keep the price the same.
The micropoint Cooker hose CHMP1M now has a straight swivel bayonet end in place of the angled bayonet end piece. The reason for the change is to facilitate easier installation with less torsion and less space required. The product code and price remains the same.
CHMP1M is the hose supplied in kits CHKIT1 and CHKIT2.
We acknowledge that as per Irish Standards I.S. 813:2014 +A1; 2017, Domestic Gas Installations, B.3.4.2.1 that ‘Only a regulator with over pressure or excess flow protection shall be installed’. We acknowledge that EN16129 is the current European standard for the design and manufacture of cylinder regulators, which supersedes EN12864, which is withdrawn. Since 31/12/2015 a regulator offered for sale marked with EN12864 is not compliant.
All of the regulators which we offer for domestic installations have either excess flow or over pressure protection.
Be aware that there is non compliant product on the market in abundance.
The MCB2191 complete hydraulic assembly is no longer available, we are now able to supply some of the individual components or, alternatively a hydraulic assembly repair kit for the FEB24 combi boiler range.

In the vast majority of cases, existing assemblies can be repaired by either the repair kit or one of the individual parts. However, the diaphragm housing is the only moulded plastic part from the hydraulic assemblies which is available. If any of the other moulded plastic parts fail, unfortunately a repair is not possible.
Instructions will be included with each repair kit to assist engineers.
With regard to the correspondence in circulation originating from the H.S.A. , I would like to point out that the cylinder in question is a single valve cylinder, which in most cases are used only in a cylinder exchange system(i.e. filled by bulk gas suppliers only) and are filled to 80% capacity by measuring the amount of gas by weight or volume. The multi valve forklift truck cylinders that we supply are different in that they have a fixed maximum liquid level gauge(vent valve), where 80% fill is invariably definitively indicated when a steady white mist is emitted from this valve which is open during filling, ensuring no more than 80% fill.
The rubber LPG micropoint Cooker hoses (CH3809) are now discontinued by all manufactures. They are superseded by CH3810, a Flexible Stainless Steel micropoint hose with a PVC covering, these are suitable for both LPG and Natural Gas and conform to EN 14800:2007
